Today was Teachers' Day celebrations. And here's wishing all teachers a Happy Teachers' Day! :D Today's activities were not very exciting i guess. But still, hope all teachers had a wonderful day with all the well wishes and gifts from students. (:
The present is important but the past is important too. I suppose many of us went back to our primary sch. where we recall many many memories of the past 6 years. where we get to talk to our teachers and thank them for shaping us into what we are now. And not forgetting to catch up with our ex-classmates. ((:
And back to the present again.. we should really thank all year 1 teachers for welcoming us into Dunman High. (;

hihi! and our sch has hit the papers again. :] in today's lian he zao bao, pg 6 of a particular section which i cant remember. find it yourself. (: it's abt. our national day celebrations-cross country. but it took them like 12 days to finally write abt it. hah. and in the forum of today's lian he zao bao, a parent wrote in complaining about how much time cca in our sch takes up. :( which could be quite true at times.
anyway coming up are.. unseen poetry test (tmr!) sci practical test(next wk) and poetry recital has been postponed to term 4! :D
phototaking was fun, yeah? XD & all of us are saying we'll look horrible. haha.

hihi! today was pc day! well done ppl. :D it was successfully carried out. (sort of? ><) all of us were very co-operative and time management was rather well done. thanks all for the delicious food. ^^
yu rong and alex's performance during their presentation was great! and they ended approximately the same time. great job. (:
the performances went well too. very well done because of the short preperation time. yup. ^^ band did well and as for nicholas' group, entertainment level was very high. very very high (for my side). haha. grace and ziquan knocked into the screen. and sent everyone bursting into laughter. lol. but they successfully carried out the song in the 3rd time. well done ppl. (:
xueting and jayne did well in the origami activity and desirae's dance is so cool. (:
it was nice singing during the powerpoint at the end. and it was nice remembering those sweet memories. haha. :]
<3 Helea! hopefully, our bonds have gotten stronger through this activity and will continue to do so. :D

just a reminder about the pop quizzes on moodle. just sent out a relay msg this afternoon about the pop quizzes. pls get them done by week 10. do it asap cos the tests in term 4 are in the first few weeks and u'll hv more time if you do all the quizzes before the deadline (sp?). oh and hopefully moodle doesn't break down again... =.=

how was ur national day holiday? i guess it was not exactly a holiday for me... but at least i got to wake up late! =)) i went to the parade on that day and it was quite tiring... cos you have to squeeze with all the other people and blah blah blah. it was quite normal... the only thing that is different this year is that it was screened on channel news asia... anything else? hm... i guess not. i thought that the only nice thing this year was the dark knights, and the rest was all quite normal... (not meaning to be unpatriotic but... oh well)

yup today was national day celebrations.
cross country run: desirae, rachel, jayne, hazel, ming quan, ervin, rui zheng and kent got 3rd as a grp! :D jayne won 1st in lvl for individual prize. kent won 3rd in lvl for individual prize. ervin won 4th in lvl for individual prize. :] :] great job ppl. (: we're just so proud of them! XD those who didn't win individual prize did very well too! :D
